Insta Graphic Heat Presses

Insta Graphic is a family company that has been making quality printing products for more than 50 years. It started off as two men that sold heat press machines to school clubs but was later bought out by chemist that helped create Elmer’s glue and is now run by his daughter.

Heat Press Variety

Insta Graphic provides 4 different types of heat press machines that will help cater to your companies specific needs. All of these options provide consistent temperature and pressure, fast heat recovery, and quality construction

  • Automatic presses allow you to get exceptional consistency from garment to garment. Because of their technological efficiency these machines provide more features and allow for accurate adjustments.
  • Manual presses let the printer add a unique touch to every garment they press. Because manual presses require more user operation they are more cost efficient and are great for people just getting into the business.
  • Specialty presses are designed to work with special garments such as hats or to do specific designs like labels and what not. These machines are for people looking to get into more than simple t-shirt designs.
  • Sublimation presses are used for a special type of ink that engrains itself into the cloth in order to make the design last longer and typically provide higher quality graphics because it presses evenly. Good for mass production products.
  • Warranty

Most of the heat presses available from Insta Graphic provide a lifetime warranty on the upper heating element while the parts have a 1 year warranty and the labor to bring the press to your establishment is for 90 days after ordering the product.

    Swing Away Vs. Clamshell

When you’re buying a new heat press you need to look for the kind that will work the best with the products that you’re going to work with. As mentioned above, there are a ton of different types of heat presses but within these types there is also an option to get a swing away or a clamshell press.

  • Clamshell heat presses refer to presses that have an upper and lower heat platen that open up like a clam would. The user lifts and shuts the press by using the upper heat platen. This type of press is useful for beginners because it is much easier to use and is easily portable. It does not work very well for thicker fabrics.

  • Swing away heat presses refer to presses that have an upper platen that swings away from the lower platen. It’s the preferred type of press because it allows for a larger quantity of fabric to be printed at a time, helps to keep the user from making contact with the upper platen, and makes it easier to lay out the fabric. However, it does require more space and experienced users.
